I made a painting for a co worker’s daughter. I named the art after her, Sara Angel.

Latest Cards

Here are a few cards I’ve been working on for the last few months. It’s a little difficult with 2 little kiddies climbing on me all the time, but I managed to get some done for special occasions anyway. Enjoy!

I love this Baby Shower card I made for a couple from church. I think the Clear Stamp from Studio G is totally and completely adorable!

I love this other simple Baby Shower Card for hubby’s cousin. I got to use my brand new Fiskars Scallop punch and my Hampton Art Create-A-Card stamp set. It’s so easy to make my own cards!

A previous co-worker approached me to make a card for her mom’s doctor and staff who attended to her during a recent open heart surgery. This is one of the reason why I love making cards!

Last mother’s day, I was able to make this card using stamps from Studio G and Rhonna Farrer (Autumn Leaves).

Father’s Day is always challenging, so I decided to make a trifold design and use scrap paper and a printed sentiment. I found the font I’ve been searching for a long time ands extremely excited to use it in this project.

Bulletin Boards

It’s been a long time since I had the opportunity to work on Bulletin Boards. Well, at least creatively, anyway. Many times, our boards are very business-y, but this time, the big bosses are allowing for fun creativity.

Last month, I made a little leprechaun character and my other committee members cut out a few hundred shamrocks.

This month, we have a contest going on and we’re doing a Candyland theme. I have the path ready to be cut out and traced and put together and I have these few elements almost ready…

They were freedrawn from images I found online, no stencils or enlarged print outs used. I’ll be sure to post the finished board when it’s up and ready.

Hello Kitty Fun

I finally started getting some stuff for our daughter’s Hello KItty Birthday party….

I made some Hello Kitty surprise balls. They’re crepe paper balls with small toys inside. I initially thought I could make them as favors for the party, but I realized how much crepe paper and work that would be. So, I made a few for prizes instead.

My First Painting

I finally did it! I made my very first painting.

I call it “Thinking about love”

I donated it to a silent auction to benefit an orphanage in Mexico.
