This is a small yet fun way to use some embellishment stash. I used mm’s but any small bagged candies would be great for this project too!

This is the Scrapbooking kit I made for my 5 girls from church as their Christmas present. I bounded some scrapbook paper, made some photo mats, some decorative elements from rubber stamps and decorative punches, and printed out some word art they can cut up. I included some glue, scissors, stickers, candy and photos they can get started with. I packed them in a ziploc bag and stuck a label outside with their name on it.

For my co workers, I made them personalized 2009 calendars with their name on it.

Hubby embroidered some scarves as presents. He did a wonderful job!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I know it’s too late for a Digital freebie to use for your Christmas cards, but here’s something useful for scrapping those photos you’ve taken during the Holiday season. Enjoy!
I made 5 sheets of background paper. One with red, green and white stripes, one textured green, one designed red and two polkadot sheets. These papers were designed in 12×12 inches and 300 dpi.
I also added an element pack. It includes star and button brads, a felt christmas tree, 2 glittery strings and word art. Free for download here.

I finally finished designing, cutting, gluing, scanning and printing our Christmas cards this year. (okay some of them!) They’re Handmade Cut Paper Art!
I took an advice from a co-worker that makes her own cards too. She said to make prints of your work if you’re giving them out to a lot of people. It’s true that not everyone will keep the card you made so you might as well save it for those people who will keep it.

I would like to thank Ellia for introducing me to Cut Paper Illustrations! Who knew that I can actually make use of the papers I’ve been collecting for years.
I was supposed to lead the construction of the set pieces for the children’s concert, but hubby ended up doing most of it. He did a great job.

Aren’t they the most awesome background set pieces ever?
Here’s a Christmas craft I made using a toilet paper roll and some felt.

These are the pieces that I used to make this fun little snowman…

It’s been a busy week. There’s so many people who’s been celebrating their birthdays. I’ve been making some cards to let them know how special and appreciated they are. My one hour lunches at work have been such a help. =)

I’ve been making more bows for DD lately, but I haven’t had much time to upload them. So much is going on and it’s been difficult to sneak out of bed to blog and upload pix. But I’m trying to catch up.

I’ve also figured that DD’s first birthday theme will be Hello Kitty, my favorite of course. So I’m putting together ideas on how to make it extra special. I’m experimenting on Hello Kitty themed food we can make for the party. I tried this…

Christmas is coming, I soo need to get started on my Christmas cards. I will, as soon as I get these birthday cards out of the way. =P
I’ve always wanted to try to make cute baby bows. I’ve seen a lot of people try to make them using the alligator clips. I have some of those too, but my daughter’s hair is growing in a way that those alligator clip just won’t hold her hair. I like putting her hair up using elastic ties instead.
This morning, I had the chance to work on a few for fun. I ended up putting the two ideas together.

I made an extra big one too. She likes it and I do too =)
